Day 01: Reaching Kolkata /Delhi
New Delhi. The whole day will be of yours and you can take rest. Night will be spent in the same hotel.
Day 02: Enjoy sightseeing for the full day
Visit and marvel at the sight of this attractive British capital which still carries the reminiscence of the days of Raj in India. The night will be spent in Kolkata.
Day 03: From Kolkata/Delhi to Guwahati
Catch flight for Guwahati (gateway to North East, India) in the morning and check into hotel after reaching Guwahati. The full day will be yours and after that go out for a sunset cruise on river Brahmaputra in the evening.
Day 04: Nameri National Park Sightseeing
Through the turning & twisted roads you will reach the Nameri National Park (km). It is the youngest National Park of Assam and is situated in Sonitpur district of Assam. This forest is the home of four rare wild cats. After reaching there you will get to stay at the eco camp inside the park.
Day 05: Staying in the Nameri National Park
Feel fresh and light by ding morning walk inside the National Park after breakfast and then return for a picnic lunch by the riverside. Enjoy rafting down in the river Jia Bhorali and then come back to the camp for overnight stay.
Day 06: A day in Jorhat
Leave for Tea Bunglow at Jorhat and visit the oldest Tea Research & Training Institute on the way. Enjoy a fresh and amazing life different from the normal. After that feel the joy of the tea garden workers expressed through their traditional JHUMUR Dance performance.
Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary: It is the only wildlife Sanctuary that is found to be named after a non-human primate. It is an ideal home for the primates and out of 15 species of primates that are found in India, 7 are found in Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 07: Jorhat to Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary
Visit the Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary in the early morning which is the only sanctuary in India to be named after a non-human primate.
Day 08: Discovering Kaziranga National Park
Get your breakfast and move on to Kaziranga National Park. Check into any lodge or resort that are inside the park and get ready to enjoy the beauty and calmness inside the national park in the evening.
Day 09: One more day in Kaziranga National Park
First you will enjoy sightseeing in the core area of the national park through Elephant safari in the early morning. After that it will be a jeep safari in the two major ends of the park where you can see migratory birds and the animals. The evening will then rock with the flavor of the local Bihu dance performed by the local villagers. Night halt will be inside the National Park.
Day 10: Towards Guwahati
Start your return journey to Guwahati and check into hotel. The evening will be free and the night has to be spent at hotel.
Manas National Park: Among all national parks in North East India the Manas National Park is the only World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 1985. This national park was also included in the list of tiger reserve under Project Tiger in 1973. An area of about 2850 squar km extending from river Sankosh in the west to Dhansiri in the east is being covered by it. It was in the year 1990 only Manas was declared as a National Park. This National Park gets more beautiful for having rivers like Manas and Beki. This park contains 543 species of plants, 312 species of Avi-fauna and 60 species of mammals.
Day 11: A day in Manas National Park
Move towards the Manas National Park in the morning that is situated in the foothills of Bhutan Himalayas. This is a land of perfect bio-diversity and falls under Tiger Reserve Project. Check into the lodge inside the park and spend the night there.
Day 12: Another day in Manas N.P
Enjoy Jeep Safari inside the National Park for the entire day and then enjoy and take part in the local tribal dance.
Day 13: Last day in Manas N.P
The day will get adventurous and excititng by an unique boat ride on river Manas starting from Mothanguri and ending at Bispani. In this entire route of 35km you will encounter with animals such as wild buffalo, deer and elephant herd. Take afternoon walk upto the bank of river Manas and then deep forest walk where Golden Langur and Capped Langur can be seen.
Day 14: Return to Guwahati
Journey towards Guwahati starts early in the morning and on the way you will visit Saulkuchi. This place is world famous for the traditional Muga silk clothes. So, see the looming machine and experience the rich heritage of Muga Silk craft. The night will be spent at hotel in Guwahati.
Day 15: Journey ends at Guwahati and you will be towards your destination through flight or Rail.
