The holy cave place of Mata Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites that are found in India. Mata Vaishno Devi’s shrine is positioned in a cave and it is found amidst the folds of the Trikuta Bhagwati Mountains at a height of 5, 300 ft. This mountain is situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Images of three deities are there in the cave, viz. the Mahasaraswati, Mahakali and Mahalakshmi. For reaching it a least 13 kms of the way have to be negotiated on foot by the yatris (visitors). From the entrance to the cave, the path turns into a narrow tunnel with a cold stream named the Charan Ganga running through it.
Day 1: Delhi
Guests will be received from New Delhi railway station. Help tourists in getting hotel reservation and then visit India Gate, Qutub Minar, Rajghat and Jantar Mantar.
Day 2 : Jammu
Drive to Jammu- check in hotel
Day 3 : Jammu – Katra
You will be reaching Jammu in the morning. Sightseeing of the city will start in the evening and then will leave for Katra in the evening only. Get hotels in Katra.
Day 4: Katra – Mata Vaishnao Devi Temple
Trekking to Mandir (16 kms) in the early morning. Return to the hotel by evening and stay for the night.
Day 5: Katra
Explore the places and then shopping at Katra.
Day 6: Pattni Top
Leave for Pattni top. Get hotel and enjoy Pony rides along with walking.
Day 7: Delhi
Drive to Delhi
